PhD in Translational Medicine
Department of Precision Medicine, University of Campania ‘L. Vanvitelli’, Italy
Bridging molecular biology, clinical practice, and computational science to address complex human diseases through precision medicine approaches.
My research focuses on molecular and translational approaches to human disease, integrating molecular biology, human genetics, bioinformatics, and computational modeling to address clinically relevant questions.
My work spans multiple domains, including coagulation disorders and clinical hemostasis, gynecological and oncological pathology, reproductive genetics, environmental health, and machine-learning–based biomedical research. I combine wet-lab experimentation with in silico and data-driven methodologies to identify disease-associated genetic variants, molecular mechanisms, and clinically actionable biomarkers.
I have authored more than 65 peer-reviewed publications in international journals and actively collaborate with multidisciplinary research groups across Europe and Asia. In addition to research activities, I contribute to academic service as a Guest Editor for international journals and participate in peer review and editorial processes.
My research interests are centered on translational and precision medicine, with particular emphasis on:
My research delves deep into the genetic architecture of human diseases, utilizing whole-exome sequencing and advanced bioinformatics pipelines to uncover pathogenic variants. I specialize in reproductive genetics, investigating the molecular basis of human infertility through comprehensive genomic analysis and functional validation.
My research focuses on translational approaches to human disease, integrating molecular biology, clinical hemostasis, and computational modeling. I investigate coagulation disorders, sepsis-induced DIC, and thromboembolic complications, aiming to identify clinically actionable biomarkers.
I develop and apply advanced computational frameworks including deep learning models, explainable AI architectures, and molecular dynamics simulations. My work focuses on predicting disease associations, protein functions, and therapeutic targets through data-driven approaches.
